There are three ways to remove subscribers from your list. You can use the subscriber importer to replace your current list of subscribers with a new list, you can unsubscribe individual subscribers from the Subscriber List, or you can use our text box on the Subscriber List page to unsubscribe a single address or a small list.
You can replace your list with a new list by Importing A Subscriber File. You tell us where to find the file, on your computer, that contains your new subscribers, then select the option "Replace Your List With These Subscribers". All existing subscribers who are not on your new file will be removed, and any new subscribers will be added to your list.
This option is best used when you are exporting an updated list from your database, you've cleaned up a file with all your subscribers, or you're replacing your existing list with a much smaller group of addresses.
To remove a small list of subscribers or to remove a single subscriber, go to your Subscriber List. Paste the email address or addresses you wish to remove into the box at the top of the page, and select the radio button to "Unsubscribe".
If you'd like users to be notified of the unsubscription, click on "Send them email notification". If you do not select this option, no notification will be sent regarding the removal of their subscription. Then, simply click "Submit".
This option is best if people have contacted you asking to be removed, and you already have their email address.
To remove an individual subscriber from your mailing list, check on their email address on the Subscriber List.
Then select "Unsubscribe" at the bottom of the box and click on the "Submit" button.
This can be used in combination with the Subscriber search function, so this is best if you don't know the exact email address of the person you want to remove.
